Product Review: The Vortex Portable Mixer

I have always hated going on travel and having to use my shaker cup to mix my Shakeology. It is just not as good as using a blender like I do at home. Same thing goes for my Recovery drinks. I had been thinking that I should look into some really good shaker cups (the kind with the wire ball in the bottom or something) but just hadn’t really taken the time.

So, I was in Maxx Nutrition in Poulsbo yesterday and walked by the Vortex Portable Mixer. This thing is a battery powered mixing cup. It creates this amazing little vortex (hence the name I suppose) in the middle of the cup using a 9000 rpm motor that is powered by 2 AAA batteries (included with the cup). The cup cost me $19.99 at the nutrition store (actually bought two…one for the wife).

So, I tried it out for the first time after P90X Shoulders and Arms with a nice P90X Results and Recovery drink and it works amazing! This is, in my opinion, a must have for you Shakeology users (I say users because most of us are addicted…”and I mean that in a good way”).  I will be taking mine whenever I travel.

NOTE: I am in no way affiliated with this product, nor do I make any money from the sale of this product. Same goes for the Lara Bars that I reviewed here. I just think they are good products that I use myself.

If you want to get a vortex cup, you can try your local nutrition store or you can check out their website here or type it into google.

Enjoy.
