Triathlon Coaching
B.A.S.E. Training now uses Training Peaks to provide training plans on a weekly basis. If you haven’t tried training peaks, take a look around at www.trainingpeaks.com. If you are a current B.A.S.E. Training athlete, you can use the login form to the left to log into training peaks and see your training plan for the week!
I am a USAT Level I certified triathlon coach, a certified Total Immersion swim coach, and a Heart Zones Level I Certified Personal Trainer and use the Heart Zones Training System to help you get the most out your training.
I offer five different levels of triathlon coaching to meet your specific goals and needs as a triathlete. My coaching services are aimed at those that are new to triathlon or are looking to move up from a beginner to an intermediate triathlete but I am willing to work with anyone.
Private training sessions included in these packages are approximately 1 hr and can be in the triathlon discipline of your choice or can be in a cross-training sport or activity (strength training, core work, plyometrics, racquetball, etc.). Private training sessions can take place wherever you wish in the Kitsap area (lakes for open water swimming, parks for runs, open roads for bikes, etc.).
In addition, I have a gym quality treadmill, a bike trainer, weights, Beachbody training programs, and a swim spa at my home that are available for any of the private training sessions.

Coaching Packages:
Lana’i
The Lana’i coaching package is designed for those that just want help creating a training plan that fits their goals and access to someone to answer questions when they arise throughout the season. This package includes the following:
- Initial Consultation with your Coach to determine fitness level, goals, races, and expectations.
- Custom Weekly Training Plan – The training plan will be customized to fit your schedule, chosen races, weight loss or weight gain goals, and strengths and weaknesses. The training plan is built based on the information obtained in your initial consultation but can be modified throughout the season to meet changes in your schedule or life commitments.
- Nutritional Guidance
- Unlimited email access to your coach for questions
$50 initial consulation, $75 per month
Kaua’i
The Kaua’i coaching package is designed for those that want a little more than just a training plan and some general guidance. This level of plan begins including private training sessions with your coach to give you personalized advice. The private training sessions will focus on your form and any weaknesses. This package includes the following:
- Initial Consultation with your Coach to determine fitness level, goals, races, and expectations.
- Custom Weekly Training Plan – The training plan will be customized to fit your schedule, chosen races, weight loss or weight gain goals, and strengths and weaknesses. The training plan is built based on the information obtained in your initial consultation but can be modified throughout the season to meet changes in your schedule or life commitments.
- Nutritional Guidance
- Unlimited email access to your coach for questions
- 1 monthly training session with your coach in the activity of your choice
$50 initial consultation, $125 per month
O’ahu
The O’ahu package simply builds on what the Kaua’i package has to offer by offering an additional training session each month to give you more one-on-one time with your coach. This package includes the following:
- Initial Consultation with your Coach to determine fitness level, goals, races, and expectations.
- Custom Weekly Training Plan – The training plan will be customized to fit your schedule, chosen races, weight loss or weight gain goals, and strengths and weaknesses. The training plan is built based on the information obtained in your initial consultation but can be modified throughout the season to meet changes in your schedule or life commitments.
- Nutritional Guidance
- Unlimited email access to your coach for questions
- 2 monthly training sessions with your coach in the activity of your choice·
$50 initial consultation, $175 per month
Mau’i
The Mau’i package steps it up again by offering 3 monthly training sessions with your coach. This package includes the following:
- Initial Consultation with your Coach to determine fitness level, goals, races, and expectations.
- Custom Weekly Training Plan – The training plan will be customized to fit your schedule, chosen races, weight loss or weight gain goals, and strengths and weaknesses. The training plan is built based on the information obtained in your initial consultation but can be modified throughout the season to meet changes in your schedule or life commitments.
- Nutritional Guidance
- Unlimited email access to your coach for questions
- 3 monthly training sessions with your coach in the activity of your choice
$50 initial consultation, $225 per month
The Big Island
The Big Island package is my premium package offering weekly training sessions with your coach. This package includes the following:
- Initial Consultation with your Coach to determine fitness level, goals, races, and expectations.
- Custom Weekly Training Plan – The training plan will be customized to fit your schedule, chosen races, weight loss or weight gain goals, and strengths and weaknesses.
