Hey everyone, so this is my first official blog post on my new website! I was doing P90X+ Upper Plus tonight and was doing some pull-ups and had the idea to share a little tip that I found on the internet when I was in the middle of my first round of P90X. When I first started, I was using a chair to for assistance like Tony recommends in the videos. However, I always felt that I was assisting myself too much and not getting enough benefit. I wished that I had one of those weight assist pull-up machines like they have in the gyms so that I could be sure that I was getting a consistent amount of resistance. So I went searching on the internet and found some pictures of a guy who used resistance bands to assist in doing pull-ups with a doorway pull-up bar. I liked the idea so I bought some resistance bands and have been using them to help with those last few reps (or all of them on things like corn cobs….are you crazy, Tony Horton?). It really works well for me and I hope it helps you out as well if you are one that struggles a little with the pullups. Enjoy the video.

I do recall seeing this somewhere once…but I am glad I saw this again….because I had forgotten about doing Pullups this way….Definitely will be utilizing this method next week when I start Phase 3 of P90X.
Thanks again!
Glad you found it useful. Make sure all your other P90X buddies get the info too!
